Step 3: Carefully solder the pin sockets to the board at their bases The pins may now be soldered onto the board. Take care to orient the tube flat and square to the board. One may solder one pin, then check alignment, adjust and then solder the rest. Use just enough solder to secure the pin to the board, otherwise you may accidentally solder the tube pin to the socket, preventing the tube from being removed. |
